They also have a huge disadvantage in that they use a lot more power. This can mean more frequent trips to the woods to replace batteries. Being the person I am and always looking for ways to improve I started developing external battery sources to minimize AA battery purchases as well as trips to the camera. In the retail market there just wasn't anything out there that could consistently handle the power demands of a cellular trail camera, so based on that experience, I developed this SPP1020 and SPP1025 solar-powered battery pack. This solar power pack can be a very economical power solution when compared to replacing AA batteries frequently.
