With 11 watts of higher efficient solar power, the X3 maintains the same compact size as our SPP1025 10w model, and now features TWO 12v and ONE 6v output for improved application versatility. The USB-C output now functions as a CONSTANT power source, allowing compatibility with security cameras that require external USB-C power. There is also a USB-C output for powering and charging phones, tablets or any USB-C compatible device.

Please note that this is a solar power pack. It is not designed to charge an external battery. The output voltage is too low to charge a 12v battery and connecting to a 12v battery will eventually overheat the output voltage regulator IC as well as void the warranty.

Great Solar panel

Since I have not had this solar panel long (a couple wewks) it is hard to say but I have another Herd 360 that I have used a little over a year with one of my tactacam cameras and have not had to change out my batteries in over 12 months (this includes through a cold winter in MI) It gets direct sun about 4-5 hours per day. I am just very pleased how it has saved on time and money on replacing batteries. I have had two tactacam solar panels that have both worked for only a few months and needed much more direct sunlight to work well. I am very pleased with my herd 360 solar panels so far. I appreciate that they come with several cables to fit many different devices. If there is one slight improvement it would be a list what cables fit which cameras. I did have to Google which cable for my cameras and that was not difficult. A very minor issue. Great solar panel. Would purchase again.

Hey Doug, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and thank you for being a repeat customer. The list about which cable sizes fit which cameras can be found in many places on our website. The product description where you purchased the X3 has this list as well as every cable and every battery box. We don't include one in the panel literature because it is much easier to update the lists online rather than in printed literature. Plus when you have it in hand you can just try each one until you find the one that fits your model. Or visit the website for the info. Hope this helps. Fantastic solar panel! I’ve already got a 1025 and jumped at the chance to own an X3! Not only is it the best solar panel on the market for trail cameras it’s also the best deal! Yes I’ve researched it!! It comes with cords to connect to the all of the big name cameras in the industry, a tree mount (which is excellent) and a charger for the panel itself. Plus it has a USB port for charging other things like a phone etc! Every time I buy one I consider it another camera that I’ll never buy batteries for! And I run 8 cameras from 3 different manufacturers.

I have the previous model for my Tactacam. I purchased the newer version for the rest of my cameras. They are amazing. These are one of the best purchases for anyone running cell cameras.
