Directional High Gain Antenna

Upgrade your trail camera with the Universal Directional High Gain Booster Antenna from Herd 360. With its directional design, weak signals are a thing of the past. Enjoy increased battery life and reliable photo and video transmissions at lightning-fast speeds. A must-have for for fringe signal areas.

Fits ALL cellular trail cameras with a screw on antenna including, Tactacam Reveals, WiseEyes, Brownings, Stealth Cams, Spartans, etc. Includes an adapter for the RP-SMA antenna connector found on Tactacam Reveal and Spypoint cameras. This directional antenna is the best possible solution to achieve improved or usable signal. The directional antenna is directly pointed at a transmission tower by rotating the antenna and monitoring the received signal until peak reception is achieved. After tuning 10/12 dBi depending on cellular band (don't be fooled by bogus dbi numbers you find on most Amazon antennas. In addition to the signal improvement the antenna itself can bring, the included 15’ cable allows the antenna to be placed significantly higher which can also have dramatic improvements in reception. The plastic housing may be painted to reduce its visibility using standard, nonmetallic, spray paint. The included mounting bracket is designed to attach to round piping but is easily modified to mount on a wide variety of surfaces

Real world improvement 1.5-3 bars Actual signal gain: 10/12 dBi depending on cellular band (don't be fooled by bogus dbi numbers you find on most Amazon antennas.

Booster Antenna

Very happy with the booster antenna. I didn't have any service at all with a tactacam in a deep bottom in Ohio. I mounted this antenna per instructions on a 12' pole and had service immediately after turning camera on. Currently showing 2 bars. I will buy another one if I ever have an area a camera does not work in.

High gain antenna.

It took a little while to get it pointed in correct direction but it seems to be holding signal strength at a constant 3 bars now!! The signal has dropped on two occasions to 2 bars but at the next camera check in it goes back to 3 bars!! Would recommend this product and Herd360 has been very helpful by communicating via email!!

It helped a little

I have two trail cameras importuning units. Originally the trail cameras had the lowest bar of signal, Verizon. Regardless of the positioning of each of these which were about 500 yards apart, only the lowest bar could still be achieved. There was no increase in the amount of bars regarding the signal. However these did help. Previously the cameras would get disconnected and I would have to go physically and reset them. This is not happened in the three weeks I have had these antennas up. So the signal was not post enough to add even a second bar, however the signal was boosted to some degree keeping the cameras functioning which is a definite positive. I spoke with Mike on the phone twice initially, before trying to reset these again and he was very helpful. He answered the phone immediately and both times I called.

The wire, connectors, and hardware were very high quality.

Hey Lou. Thank you for your review. It seems your cameras are in a fringe area and the signal is very minimal but you were able to establish a more reliable connection. That's great. I always tell my customers when they ask if this antenna will help, if it won't, nothing will. Your location would be perfect for testing so I may reach out in the future if I ever need to test an new antenna. Thanks again and reach out any time.

It works

My camera could only get two bars of low quality signal which wasn't enough to transmit requested videos. After hooking up the antenna, I got 3 bars of good signal which was able to send the requested videos from the camera. Once and awhile it dips to 2 bars, but it will still send the requested videos unlike before I hooked up the directional antenna.
