Description
Omnidirectional Booster Antenna. Works with cellular trail cameras that use an RP-SMA connection and with SMA conncetions using the included adapter. An RP-SMA connection has the small pin in the middle of the connector on the camera. No adapter required for these popular cameras, Tactacam Reveal X, XB, SK, X Gen 2.0, X-Pro and Spypoint cameras and with most other cameras using the included adapter.
ABOUT THIS ANTENNA. This antenna is going to work best in situations where elevation is the limiting factor with signal. We still recommend our Universal Directional Antenna for the absolute best signal gain and connectivity but the setup is more complicated with that antenna versus this Omni-Directional Antenna. Mount this antenna on a pole as high as possible. Mounting any antenna up against the tree will decrease performance so where possible use a pole out away from the tree. We use a T-Post driven in the ground and then strap an extension cleaning pole to the post. The Unger brand found at home depot works well.
